Significant alterations and additions to an existing terrace house in Bondi, Sydney.

Mitch Reed Architect redesigned an existing approval by ark design studio to provide more accommodation and amenities within the existing footprint of this terrace house.

A new upper level has been added to provide more accommodation and amenities to the occupants.

On the ground level, the existing layout has been modified to provide a open layout that encourages indoor / outdoor living, with a new steel pergola / outdoor living providing a link between the home and the garden.

The colour palette of neutral whites, mid-toned timbers, earthy accents and black create a sense of warmth as well as intrigue.
